Opening of the Afghan Army Garrison in Herat

Afghan Minister of Defense Abdul Rahim Wardak cut the ribbon of the new Afghan National Army garrison in Herat recently, opening its doors for use by the ANA's 207th Corps. "This garrison was the last to be started but today we celebrate it as the first permanent corps headquarters to open" said U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. John Brennan, chief of the Office of Security Cooperation-Afghanistan.


Contrack Receives Safety Award from the US Army Corps of Engineers

Contrack recently received an award for completing over 1,000,000 man-hours without a lost time accident from the US Army Corps of Engineers on one of their projects in Bahrain between October 2003 and April 2005 in Bahrain. This is truly an outstanding achievement in the overseas safety management arena.


Contrack awarded for Bahrain Project Office

Eng. Nader Kamal Amin, the Quality Control Manager in Bahrain, was awarded for his superior achievements and appreciation for his work on the Bahrain project office. This was from November 2000 to April 2005 on projects worth over $43 million. He was also commended on maintaining a high standard of quality, and ensured full compliance with the contract requirements
